Owner / Partner / Production Director

Messina brings over 25 years of production and marketing expertise to MADMAXMAR, having worked his way through some of the largest marketing agencies in Chicago. In 2003, after having enough of people telling him how he needed to think and act in the marketing industry, he finally decided to take responsibility for his own professional destiny—and MADMAXMAR was born.

As seen in all of Messina’s professional accomplishments, Mike is dedicated to everything he does. He works hard for his clients, and takes personal ownership over each project. Messina does whatever it takes to get things done right.

Mark Alderson

Owner / Partner / Creative Director

As creative director of MADMAXMAR, Alderson is responsible for strategic and creative management for our clients, as well as bringing his expertise in branding to the group.

Alderson has spent over 23 years working within branding, design, and marketing communications for companies in the Unites States and Canada. He has worked seamlessly across all branded communication channels from digital and print advertising to television. He has been responsible for many breakthrough creative projects that have effectively informed, engaged, and persuaded audiences. Trained and educated as a brand communication designer, Alderson’s foundation is bolstered with a love in design management. This combination has enabled him to fluidly interchange between strategy and creativity and has made him a highly valued partner to companies who need to bridge business problem solving with brand and marketing solutions. He has worked with companies in the financial, retail, television and educational arenas.
